  • Few good colleges and Universities in India like IITs, NITs, AIIMS which admit less than 10000 students from applications over 13 lakh.

  • Education system in India
    • First of all you select a stream like engineering, medical, architecture, law etc.
    • Then you identify and prepare for respective entrance exam. There are different entrance exams for each of the stream
    • Based on your scores in entrance and other criteria you get admission through centralized admission process.
  • Education system Abroad
    • There is single entrance exam which is stream independent like SAT, TOEFL/IELTS
    • You prepare and write the entrance exam.
    • There is no centralized admission process
    • Based on your scores you select the stream and universities where you wish to apply for admission.
    • In most of the top universities admission is not only based on scores in entrance but also your extra curriculars carry weightage.
